Here’s a three-word chant as a message for the banks:

    LET THEM FAIL!

  2. I wish them luck but I wonder is there an opportunity here of building a left alliance on a cross-border basis?

Across what borders? I thought both SWP & SP organised on an all Ireland basis, so I presume UL:A does too?

i was at the rally in the gresham hotel last night and it was a full house dispite the bad weather, this go’s to show that the peaple are crying out for accountabuilty and fairness within the irish polictical system and i beleave UNITED LEFT ALLIANCE are the alternative to that.
in regards to the BANKS peaple should hand back there bank cards and demand to be paid by cash instead maybe that would give peaple some power back, and as for the UNIONS the peaple should stop all union dues until they get off there ass.

It is good to see the Left beginning to work together at last. I just hope that the ideologues can hold tight for a while. Pragmatism is not solely a preserve of right-wing politicians.
At the moment a coherent force, representing the working class is of paramount importance. Please keep a United front.
