The Declan Ganley Song September 30, 2010
Given Declan Ganleys entry into the Fiscal treaty Referendum….
Found it on YouTube, I’m not sure if it was ‘official’ or not.
Its shocking anyway.
From 2009 “The Libertas Plan For Jobs” September 4, 2010
From the 2009 European Elections a document, ‘The Libertas Plan For Jobs’. It contains Lots of simple ideas with zero cost.
How applicable was it and how many jobs it would have created …..?
From the 2009 European Elections campaign in Dublin, a flyer for Libertas candidate Caroline Simons.
Simons polled 13,514 votes (3.32%).
Interestingly her involvement in various pro life groups isn’t mentioned , although it does state that she is a governor of The National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street.
From the 2009 European Elections, A Frequently Asked Questions sheet for Libertas Canvassers.
Lots of questions with appealing populist answers.
The first question being..
“Who is Declan Ganley?”
“Declan is a family man from Abbeyknockmoy….came back to Ireland as a teenager when he cut turf on the bog and sold it at the market, investing his money in shares while he was still in school”
He also refers to the Turf cutting later on in the leaflet.
Declan Ganley-Libertas Canvassers Newsletter May 2009 January 11, 2010
Not sure if this was a widely distributed newsletter or not. I think it was for canvassers. From the 2009 European Election campaign.
It shows how populist Libertas was. The issues covered were all simple, popular generalities such as ‘Cut Red Tape’, ‘job protection’, ‘turf cutting’, ‘culling quangos’and so on. It is simple and well produced and its hard to disagree with most of the sentiments involved.
In the run up to the 2009 European Elections a Primetime Special was done on Declan Ganley and Libertas.
Arising from the show this was sent out to Libertas canvassers.
